The project consists of:
- Landfills capping in Albota (62.000 sqm), Mioveni (40.000 sqm) and Campulung (42.000 sqm).
- Construction of a new landfill waste Albota (75.000 sqm).
- Construction of platforms for waste collection in rural and urban areas located in Arges district.
 
During landfills capping  in these settlements, the main activities are:
-waste relocation
-shaping the landfill waste (taluses, roads, etc.)
-lining the landfill waste
-collecting the surface waters
-leachate collecting system (includes vertical collecting wells, horizontal collecting system and leachate storing basin).
-biogas capturing system (includes vertical collecting wells, horizontal transport system and the biogas capturing installation containing a gas burner).

In Campulung, a building for personnel (including sanitary, thermic and electrical installations), a garage, a recycling building and a compost station are in execution .

During the new landfill execution and old landfill capping, the main activities are:

a. Works executed on the emplacement of the landfill waste (cell 1); lining with geomembrane and geotextile :

-geomembrane: 750.000sqm
-geotextile: 154.000sqm
-drainage layer of gravel: 46.000cm

b. The leachate and residual waters collection system of which:
-obtaining and installing PEHD 100, Dn 355x32,2 pipes (leachate drainage): 2160ml
-loading rooms, inspection wells, pump stations: 10 units

c. Treatment plant for leachate and residual waters

d. Gas extraction system
-vertical wells:13 units
-networks of pipes: 2000ml
-control station: 1 unit
-extraction station: 1 unit
-burner: 1 unit

e. Earthwork for installing the pipes and manholes, also at the storage and composting area.
