Protection mats against erosion are done from coconut fibres and/or straw delicate fixed with an easy reinforcing mesh of polymers. The natural constituents of the mat are biological degradating without affecting the environment. 1. COVAMAT-PLUS MatsCOVAMAT – PLUS is the last generation of biodegradable mats seeded with included natural fertilizer.
GREENFIX® FERTILIZER SOF-A-100 is an organic slow-release additive which provides soil improvement. SOF-A-100 is made from the mycelia of the soil fungus Penicilium chrysogenum. Once the GREENFIX Covamat has been laid and irrigated, the dehydrated and granulated material serves as a natural nutrient source with slow action.
Due to its biological nature (decomposed biomass of a soil fungus) GREENFIX® Fertilizer SOF-A-100 represents a well-balanced combination of nutrients and therefore is very well adapted to the microbial decomposition process in the soil.
